Preem Redefine HVO100 launches – The world's first Nordic Swan Ecolabel HVO100
Road transport accounts for one-third of climate emissions in Sweden, and last year these emissions increased by 18 percent. To reverse this trend and enable an immediate reduction in fossil carbon dioxide emissions, Preem is now launching Preem Redefine HVO100, a renewable diesel carrying the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, containing zero percent fossil oil.

VARO Energy signs agreement to acquire Preem
A sales agreement has been signed where VARO Energy AG (“VARO”) acquires 100 percent of the shares in Corral Petroleum Holdings AB, which owns 100 percent of Preem Holdings and Preem AB (“Preem”).

Preem's Annual and Sustainability Report: A year of significant milestones for our transition
In 2024, Preem reduced its fossil climate emissions by approximately 700,000 tons compared to 2023. This means that since 2018, the company has achieved a reduction of just over twelve percent across its entire value chain. These results are presented in Preem's Annual and Sustainability Report, underscoring the company’s goal to cut emissions by at least 90 percent throughout its value chain by 2035.
